Voice override
With voice override (network service), you can override the
communication in the talk group and avoid the need to queue for
your turn to speak. If you have a right to use voice override, the
selection key
Overrid.
is available when the radio receives group
calls.
To request for voice override, press
Overrid.
, and press and hold
the PTT key. You can start speaking after a short tone is played and
appears on the display.
Exit a menu
When the radio is receiving a group call and you are using another
menu function, for example writing a text message, you can exit the
menu by briefly pressing
.
Mute the call temporarily
When the radio is receiving a group call, you can mute the call for a
predefined time (0-60 seconds) by pressing
for at least
1 second.
Receive a broadcast call
Broadcast call is a type of group call where only the initiator of the
call is allowed to speak. Other parties can only receive the call.

try to answer a broadcast call, the radio plays a tone and displays
