e-breathe Smartblower
Filter Mounting Round Thread Filter:
Check that the filter mount / filter seal of the
motor unit
is intact.
Check that an ecoPAD filter medium is inserted in the e-breathe particle filter.
Check whether the unencapsulated e-breathe particle filter is tightly closed and improve if necessary
(See Figure 6).
Screw the filter into the filter holder until the particle filter is firmly screwed into place.
Important: Never install / change the filters while the blower is switched on and never in contaminated or soiled
/ dirty areas, as otherwise impurities could penetrate into the blower and cause damages.
4.2.4 Filter Assembly
!
Information: The fully assembled „e-breathe particle filter“ should not be opened until it is disposed to prevent
damage to the filter media from repeated assembly/disassembly.
i
Important: As long as the filter is tightly screwed, it is also safe and ready for use if there is still a gap between
the mounting and the lid.

4.2.5 Filter Replacement
Filter Replacement ecoPAD Filter-System:
You can either replace the entire particle filter by unscrewing the filter, or you can just replace the exhausted particle filter
portion as described below and continue to use the other component.
If you want to replace the entire filter, hold the filter by the side so you have the filter holder and filter cover in your
hand. Turn the filter counterclockwise.
If you only want to replace the saturated part of the filter, follow the steps below.
Unscrew the filter cover from the filter holder (Fig. 16). Remove the used ecoPAD P3 and dispose it properly.
Take a new filter medium „ecoPAD P3“ at hand.
Hold the previously checked / intact filter medium „ecoPAD P3“ by the sealing frame and insert it with the sealing lip
into the filter holder. The filter medium shouldn‘t have any play in the housing and the sealing lip should completely
enclose the filter receptacle. Do not touch the filter medium itself or the filter center to avoid damaging the filter
medium (Fig. 17).
Take the filter cover and screw it tightly clockwise onto the filter holder (Figure 17-18).
Read the instructions for use enclosed with the respiratory filter carefully.
