4.3.1.1.3 New Connection - Static Connection Setup
Static:
When Static mode is selected, the following screen will pop-up. Most Internet users are provided with
a dynamic IP address by their ISP for each session, however certain situations call for a Static IP address.
Static is used whenever a known static IP is assigned. The accompanying information such as the Subnet
mask and the gateway should also be specified. Up to three Domain Name Server (DNS) addresses can also
be specified. These servers would enable you to have access to other web servers. Valid IP addresses range
is from 0.0.0.0 to 255.255.255.255
Name:
Enter the Static connection name. The name must be unique and must not contain spaces
and must not begin with a number.

needs to be selected to create VLAN.

Priority Bits:
Priority is given to a VLAN connection from 0-7, 0 being the highest priority.
