Cleaning the Air Filter

Remove the filter cover

Remove filter

Clean out filter casing

Release the clips on the top and bottom of the cover and 

remove the filter cover.

Remove the sponge-like elements from the casing.

Wipe the dirt from inside the empty air cleaner casing.

Routine maintenance of the air cleaner helps maintain proper 

airflow to the carburetor. Check that the air cleaner is free of 

excessive dirt after every use.
