(d) Setting the position for starting the double-feed detection
Turn the jog dial to display “A Tray Position”, and press the jog dial to confirm the setting.
Turn the jog dial and display the desired detection start position at the left edge, and press the jog dial to confirm
the setting.

: If settings have been changed, be sure to perform test feeding.
The standard double-feed detection start position is on the 11 mm (0.43") line from the edge of the reference side
of the paper (non-operating side), detection starts from the 120 mm (4.72") point from the tip of the direction in
which paper advances and continues for an area of about 35 mm (1.38") (about 155 mm (6.10") from the tip) from
this point. If there is printing in this area, double-feed detection may not be performed properly. In this case, the
detection start position can be selected in units of 10 mm (0.39") within the range of 120 to 170 mm (4.72" to
6.69") from the tip of the paper. Set avoiding printed area.

: Set the double-feed detection start position so that the end mark does not enter the double-feed
detection area.
