Reference Manual ATOM one SSM500
For a full list of the commands that will be executed on both chains in linked mode see the
description of the
link_settings
command.
Linking the chains will always result in an implicit call of
copy_settings
, so that the chains
are initially in sync. From here on you can setup both chains simultaneously, just
remember that any setting will directly be seen in the playback output.
2.2 Image Processing Pipeline – SSM Mode
The following graphic shows the image processing pipeline of the ATOM one SSM500 in
SSM Mode:
In contrast to the Trigger Mode the SSM Mode does not have a recording pipeline as
recording is done by an external solution (e.g. EVS). The SDI outputs 1 to 4 contain the
multiplexed slow motion video with up to 60 fps per output (240 fps sensor frame rate) and
will usually be connected to the storage system.
The 5th SDI output is a copy of SDI 1 and serves as a monitor output for the camera
operator.
It is possible to change the number of active phases to reduce the amount of SDI outputs
used (and thus reduce the slow motion factor). For more details see the
phases
command.

Workflow Details
Since the ATOM one SSM500 in SSM Mode has only one video processor and no internal
recording it behaves like any other ATOM one camera and you can use your usual
workflow.
