Preparations for use
CAUTION
Health risk!
Direct contact with soda lime irritates eyes, mucous membranes, and skin!

Avoid skin contact. Use protective gloves and goggles. Do not inhale released
soda lime dust. Use dust mask with P2 or R95 filter. In case of skin or eye
contact, wash off soda lime dust immediately.
1. Press down the cover of the CO
2
absorber.
2. Turn bayonet lock and remove cover by pulling up.
3. Remove the rubber cuff from the CO
2
absorber.
4. Fill up to 1/3 of the CO
2
absorber with soda lime and compress it against the
side wall of the housing by lightly hitting it with your hand.
5. Press sealing cuff into the bottom third of the soda lime container so that wall
contact between the sealing cuff and the housing is ensured.
6. Continue filling up to the filling mark while compacting the soda lime.
7. Check the seal on the edge of the cover, remove dirt and soda lime residue.
8. Firmly close the CO
2
absorber with cover and close the bayonet lock by turning
it.
9. Check whether you can hear rustling sounds when the CO
2
absorber is shaken.
Refill if rustling sounds occur.

Mounting the rebreather
1. Insert connecting pieces:
a. Insert connecting pieces, pay attention to colored markings (green right, red
left).
b. Attach threaded rings and tighten by hand.
2. Install mouthpiece and breathing hoses:
a. Connect the plug-in connections of the breathing hoses to the connecting
pieces.
3. Install the relief valve:
