Exceeding the measuring range
If temperature is outside the measuring range
(15

C to 42
°
C):
●
3 dashes at the bottom of display = temperature
below 15 ºC,
●
3 dashes at the top of display = temperature
above 42 ºC.

Refer to "Troubleshooting", page 54.
For temperatures below below 15 ºC the message
Skin temp. below range
is displayed.
For temperatures below above 42 ºC the message
Skin temp. above range
is displayed.
In case of a disconnected or defective sensor probe

Three blinking dashes in the center of display,

blinking red LED and audible alarm.
Additionally, flashing red central alarm light on the
radiant heater.

Display shows message:
Plug in skin temp. sensor
Press OK-button to acknowledge
.
Or
Skin temp. sensor fault
Press OK-button to acknowledge
.
Audible alarm starts after 10 seconds.
●
Immediately connect sensor plug or replace sensor.
Audible alarm can be silenced and red central alarm light
be switched off for 10 minutes:

If the sensor problem cannot be remedied immediately:

Switch to "manual" mode.
