23. Replace the covers.
24. From the conversion set, take the "large" sticker that indicates the new
(modified) gas category.
Affix this below the identification plate of the water heater.
This makes it clear that the water heater no longer functions on the gas for
which it was originally supplied.
4.3 Conversion of
DR-FC 80 through
120 1. Isolate the water heater from the power supply (10.3 "Isolating the water
heater from the mains") .
2. Shut off the gas supply.
3. Undo the screws of the covers.
4. Carefully remove the covers from the water heater.
5. Detach the 3-part gas coupling (1) adjacent to the gas control valve.
6. Detach the hoses marked "H" and "L" at their couplings (2 and 3) on the gas
control valve. The hoses are attached with pneumatic couplings.

7. Grip the nearest part of the pneumatic coupling.
8. Push this back.
9. Grip the hose firmly and pull it out of the coupling.
10. Release the coupling.
11. Unscrew the connector (4) of the gas inlet.
12. Undo the hose clip (5) between the air supply pipe and the venturi and slide
the pipe out of the venturi.
13. Remove the six bolts that fix the venturi onto the fan.
14. Remove the entire venturi/gas control valve unit.
15. Remove the gas control valve from the venturi flange (7, four Phillips
screws).
