The amendments below apply to determining and setting the correct service interval for these appliances.
These instructions supercede the previous instructions on how to determine and set the service interval..
Setting the service interval
The service interval is a feature of the controller to
help the service and maintenance engineer set the
maintenance frequency
("Determining service
interval") .
The service interval is determined by the number
of months that the appliance has been running.
This can be set to 6, 9 and 12 months. The default
service interval is 12 months.
A message appears
when the set number of months is reached (see
section "Service condition" in manual) . Set the
service interval as follows:

Determining service interval
The service interval is a feature of the controller to
help the service and maintenance engineer set the
maintenance frequency, based on the number of
months that the appliance has been running.
The service interval can be set to 6, 9 or 12 months.
The default setting is 12 months
When the set number of months has passed, the
message
SERVICE REQUIRED will appear on
the display. When this message appears, the
service and maintenance engineer must be
contacted.

To reset the message
The displayed message can be reset in either of
two ways.
1. Temporary reset:
To postpone the message, press
RESET once.
The message will reappear on the display
7 days later.
2. Full reset:
To fully reset the message, press and hold
both
RESET
and
ENTER
at the same time for
5 sec.
On completion of the full reset of the message, the
message below will appear on the display. This
message will NOT be shown after a temporary
reset of the message.
