17. If the measured value is within the range given in the table of CO

18. If the measured value is not within the range of CO

values from the table,
then you may not start the water heater:

Switch off the water heater.
- Shut off the gas supply to the water heater.
- Replace the covers on the water heater.
19. Contact the water heater's supplier.

21. The water heater is now running at

. Read the value from
the CO
2
meter and wait until this measured value has remained stable for
some time. This may take several minutes.
22. Then compare the measured CO
2
value against the value from the
table (3.4.3 "Gas data") .
23. If necessary, adjust the CO
2
value using the adjustment screw until the value
is within the range listed in the table of CO
2
values.
