The Formwork Experts
Flexible adaptation to the requirements of the structure
Edge kerb with kerb-wall
The formwork for the kerb-wall is suspended from
the "Double jib for Forming wagon T" on distribu-
tion walings.
For transferring the loads on the edge kerb, it has
been found advantageous to provide a back-stay
(A) from the underside of the superstructure. In this
way, the ballast weight can be considerably
reduced – although it must still be sufficient to allow
safe travelling as well!
Must be dimensioned on a project-specific basis.
Special shapes of edge kerb
The system also offers complete flexibility when it
comes to adapting the formwork to the shape of the
edge kerb. In this way, even complex kerb cross-
sections can be formed economically.

For clean transitions when forming wider
(i.e. heavier) kerbs, press the formwork up
against the previous casting section with the
aid of e.g. back-stays from components
embedded in the existing superstructure.
