Before using the terminal
Canceling the screen lock
By setting the screen lock (P. 79), you can lock the terminal not to operate
it until the specified operation is performed after the power is ON or the
Sleep mode is canceled. Also, you can lock the terminal manually to
prevent from erroneous operations.
<Example : When the screen lock is set to “Touch”>

On the lock screen, tap

When the screen lock is set to “Touch”, tap an icon on the lock
screen to activate the camera or search function directly. And when
there is notification of missed call or sp-mode mail, number (number
of notifications) appears on the icon.

To lock manually

Stand
You can use the terminal placed in the stand (sample).

Use the stand placed on a flat surface.

Open the legs of the stand to left and right

Open fully until the legs stop completely.

Insert the terminal in the direction shown while
holding the stand

Be careful not to pinch your fingers or the microUSB cable when opening/
closing the stand.
·
When operating the terminal placed in the stand, tapping, etc. the screen
forcefully may cause the stand and terminal to tip over.
