Upload Control
The Steering Tool Data Upload Control dialog box is used to view and record live data. You can log rods
(data points), edit the logged rod length and heading, pull back recorded rods, and restore pulled back
rods, as well as view measurement data and deviation from the plan if a drill plan is used. There are two
ways to open the Steering Tool Data Upload Control dialog box:
Select the
Upload Control
…
command in the
File
menu.
Click on the upload control icon on the toolbar.

Once the upload control dialog box is opened, you can hide it so that you can more easily access these
controls on the main application screen by clicking on the upload control icon on the toolbar. Click on it
again or select
Upload Control
…
from the
File
menu to again display the dialog box.
