Edit Menu Commands
Site
Information
…
Opens the Site Information dialog box where you can enter and edit the
location and contact information that displays in the site information field in the
upper left corner of the application window. General comments about the job
may also be entered in the Site Information dialog box. This dialog box can
also be accessed by double-clicking in the site information field of the
application window.
Display
Units
…
Opens the Display Units dialog box where you can select the depth, pitch,
temperature, and force/pressure units displayed on the charts in the
application window. The Set Defaults option in this dialog box will force all
future files that are opened to use the same setting.
Job
Information
…
Opens the Steering Tool Job Information dialog box where you can edit
details associated with the steering job such as the average rod length and
reference heading used during the bore. A reference elevation and offsets for
the accurate graphing of data may also be entered here. This dialog box
automatically launches after a new job is created.
Utilities…
Opens the Utility Flags dialog box where you can add, change, or delete flags
and data regarding utilities.
Profile Chart
Annotations
…
Opens the Steering DataLog Profile Annotations dialog box where you can
make comments and insert drawings to appear on the profile chart. This
dialog box can also be opened by holding the shift key down and using the
mouse button to draw a box in the profile chart area.
Plan Chart
Annotations
…
Opens the Steering DataLog Plan Annotations dialog box where you can
make comments and insert drawings to appear on the plan view chart. This
dialog box can also be opened by holding the shift key down and using the
mouse button to draw a box in the plan view chart area.
Profile Chart
Properties
…
Opens the Profile Chart Extents and Mode dialog box where you can adjust
the scaling of the profile chart.
Plan Chart
Properties
…
Opens the Plan Chart Extents and Mode dialog box where you can adjust the
scaling of the plan chart.
Some of the icons on the tool bar that are associated with the
Edit
menu are not available (grayed out)
because they pertain to other LWD applications, such as the Pressure-Tension and the Drill DataLog
applications.

Shows or hides the tool bar.

Shows or hides the status bar.

Shows a list of registered Bluetooth devices.
