Appendix K: Using Disk Mirroring
The overwrite cycle repeats: the system over writes previously recorded data on the internal hard
drive, and overwrites the
early data
on the external hard drive.
If using an array of several external USB hard drives (20 terabytes max; customized component
required), the system writes data to the first external hard drive, then to the second hard drive,
then to the third hard drive, etc. Once the final external hard drive is full, the system will overwrite
the earliest data on the first external hard drive. Visit
