4 USING THE PRODUCT
4.4 SWIVEL WHEELS WITH LOCKING BRAKES
The product features four smooth-running swiv-

(four locking brakes optionally available).
For stability and to prevent the commode wheel-
chair from rolling sideways, a pair of locking brakes
must always be applied at the front or rear when-
ever the product is being used while stationary.
1. To actuate the locking brake, step on the
lever (1, Fig. 20). The swivel wheel is now
locked and unable to swivel out of place.
2. To release the locking brake, put the tip of
your foot under the lever and push it back
up (2, Fig. 20).

If one or more locking brakes
become(s) damaged or unusable, discontinue
use of the commode wheelchair immediately.

4.5 SWIVELLING THE LEG REST
1. To swivel the leg rest, start by folding up the
foot plate (1 Fig. 21).
2. Wrap your hand around the metal clip from
behind and pull it up to release it from the
locking bolt (2 Fig. 21).
3. The leg rest can now be swivelled out by
180° (3, Fig. 21).
4. To prevent the leg rest from swivelling back
accidentally, pull the metal clip up again
and screw it back down over the locking
bolt (2 Fig. 21).
5. To swivel the leg rest forwards, follow the
steps in reverse order.

Before getting in and out, al-
ways swivel the leg rests to the side.

Never stand on the foot plates.

To prevent the chair from
rolling away of its own accord, the locking brakes
of the swivel wheels must be applied.
