3.7.5 CARBURETOR ICING
NOTE
Carburetor icing can be recognized by a drop in the engine
RPM and/or loss of manifold pressure and/or irregular run-
ning of the engine without a change in the throttle control
position, the choke position, the propeller setting, the air-
speed, or the altitude.

Carburetor heat . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ON
NOTE
The engine output will slightly drop, due to the intake air
heating, and fuel consumption will slightly increase.
