Parallel
Measurements can be performed on two channels in order to reduce imp-
recisions that may result from manual pipetting. When the discrepancy
between the results is within a certain percentage range, the device cal-
culates the average of the two results, and if the discrepancy is out of
range, the result will be flagged with a ‘D’.
8.2 Setup of Turbidimetric and Chromogenic Test
Parameters
First Time
The time elapsed between the preparation of the reaction mixture and the
first reading.
End Time
The time elapsed between the preparation of the reaction mixture and the
endpoint of the reaction.
Reagent Nr.
Identifies the number of reagents.
Incubation Time
Sets the time period between adding the sample and adding the reagent.
During this period the sample is incubated at 37°C.
When setting up D-Dimer test parameters and “Slope” is incorrect, an
error message „ Error Slope 0,0000 Dilution1/1” appears. In case the
Slope value is valid, two options are prompted during D-Dimer
measurement:
Yes
– the measurement procedure is repeated, the result will
be multiplied with the dilution ratio set in “Setup”, then the
‘Diluted sample’ (d) is displayed.
No
– the measurement is completed, the result is
displayed - ΔOD and >5µgFEU/ml. In this case Slope (S) is
displayed.
