Power Management Setup
The Power Management Setup allows you to configure your system
to most effectively save energy. If you like to use the soft power
down feature of Windows
95, you must enable the Power
Management below. Select Min. Power, Max. Power or User Defined.
Either one can be used as long as it is NOT disabled.
The settings on the screen are for reference only. Your version may not be
identical to this one.
Power Management
This category allows you to select the type (or degree) of power saving
by changing the length of idle time that elapses before each of the
following modes are activated: Doze mode, Standby mode, and
Suspend mode.
Disable
No power management. Disables the Doze, Standby and
Suspend modes.
Min. Power Saving
Minimum power management. Doze Mode = 1
hr., Standby Mode = 1 hr., and Suspend Mode =
1 hr.
Max. Power Saving
Maximum power management. Doze Mode = 1
min., Standby Mode = 1 min., and Suspend
Mode = 1 min.
User Defined
Allows you to set each mode individually. When
enabled, each option ranges from 1 min. to 1 hr.
