Jumper Settings for CMOS Clear

CMOS Clear
If, for some reason, the CMOS data becomes corrupted, the
system can be reconfigured with the default values stored in the
ROM BIOS. To load the default values, power-off your system and
unplug the power cord. If you are using an AT power supply, you
do not need to unplug the power cord. Set pins 1 and 2 to On.
Wait for a few seconds and set it back to its default setting, pins 2
and 3 On. You may now plug the power cord and power-on your
system.

Jumper JP2
Modem Ring-on Select
The system board supports the
Modem Ring-on feature which allows
the Soft Power Down (Soft-Off) PC
to power-on to respond to incoming
calls. With an external modem
installed, you can remotely transmit or
access data without physically going to
your system. To power-on your
system, follow the steps on the next
page.
