connector group the assignable 
component input is assigned to. 

Select "DVD" from the dropdown 
list. 

Click "Assign". 

 

  

The component output of the DVD will be connected to the component input of the DVD input connector group of the Denon. 

Now the Ubiquity software knows of a path from the DVD player through the Denon to the Living room projector TV and the Living room 
speakers, but, again, it cannot yet control either the DVD player nor the AV receiver
