Reprocessing with the DAC Universal
5.3.1
Switching ON/OFF/Standby mode
Switch-on
The DAC Universal will power up and heat the steam generator once the
DAC Universal is connected to a power socket, unless it was put into
standby mode before having been disconnected from the power socket.
In that case, the DAC Universal will restart in standby mode and must be
started by pressing the "Start/Stop"-Key.
The heating phase of the DAC Universal takes 10-12 minutes. During the
heating phase, the display indicates the temperature to be reached in %.
When this is done, the DAC Universal will display the ready screen.
Standby mode/Switching off
To switch the DAC Universal to standby mode, press the "Start/Stop"-Key
for more than 2 seconds.
The manufacturer recommends that the DAC Universal is set to standby
mode at night, alternatively that the power supply is switched off.
IMPORTANT
It is not possible to start a reprocessing program until the steam
generator is properly heated.
IMPORTANT
Please note that the DAC Universal can only be set to standby mode
from the ready screen or during the heating phase.
