Select “3: READ CODE” at OPEN BAR SETTING and then press the
ENT
key.
The SET BARCODE screen is displayed.
the SET BARCODE screen, allowing code reading to be set to enable (ON) or disable (OFF). The
highlighted settings are the current settings.
To change the settings, use the cursor keys ([

][
▼
]) or numerical keys ([1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8]) to select
the item to be set and select the setting value using the cursor keys ([ ][ ]).
“1: EAN/UPC”:
Enable/disable EAN/UPC Code
“2: ITF”:
Enable/disable Interleaved 2 of 5 (ITF)
“3: CODABAR”:
Enable/disable Codabar (NW-7)
“4: CODE39”:
Enable/disable Code 39
“5: CODE93”:
Enable/disable Code 93
“6: CODE128”:
Enable/disable Code 128
“7: RSS”:
Enable/disable RSS (GS1 Databar)
“8: STF”:
Enable/disable Standard 2 of 5 (STF).

ENT
key for the detailed settings of the bar code beign selected. Refer to the following
section for the details.

Press the
BS/C
key to return to the OEPN BAR SETTING menu.
- Point -
“1: EAN/UPC” and “7: RSS” have different types of code readings, which allows code
readings to be set enable/disable at the detailed settings according to types of code readings.
If enable, both this setting and the detailed settings need to be enabled.
