Storage and transport
1. Petrol
Do not transport the tool with the petrol tank full. Drain the petrol before
transport and fill in the tank immediately before use.
2. Protection
The trimming tool must be removed and put in the packaging for the time of
transport. It will prevent injuries or damage.
Maintenance before storage
Use all the petrol in the carburettor before storing the tool.
a)
Clean the petrol tank before storage, see instructions. The petrol tank
must be empty during storage.
b)
Clean the air filter, see instructions.
c)
Remove the trimming tool, clean and lubricate all metal parts with
suitable lubricant or engine oil and put in the packaging.
d)
Remove the spark plug, fill the cylinder with a small amount of engine oil
(approx. 1 ml), pull the starter rope several time to distribute the oil evenly
over the cylinder walls. Tighten the spark plug.
Store in a dry room at constant temperature.
e)
Remove the spark plug boot cap to prevent accidental engine start before
storage and maintenance.
