
Using the harness
Before using the harness, start and warm up the engine following the relevant procedure.
Make sure the idle speed is stable and the trimming tool (trimmer line head or cutting
blade) is not rotating.
Put on the harness in accordance with the following procedure.
The following procedure is for right-handed users.
Make sure not to accidently touch the throttle lever. Pressing the throttle lever
accidentally will increase the engine speed and may cause the trimming tool to rotate
and result in injuries. If the rotating tool touches the ground, the grass trimmer may
get out of control and cause injuries.
1. Hold the main shaft in the middle of the distance between the bike handle and the top
handle with your left hand, use your right hand to put on the right strap on your right arm.
2. Hold the main shaft in the middle of the distance between the bike handle and the top
handle with your right hand, use your left hand to put on the left strap on your left arm.
3. Adjust the harness length for close fit of the grass trimmer protectors to your back and
distribute the weight evenly to both your arms.
Hold the bike handle with your left hand and hold the main handle with your right hand to
keep the trimming tool over the ground. The distance between the trimming tool and the
ground shall be:
0 – 30 cm for trimmer line head 10 – 30 cm for cutting blade.
• In emergency:
Press the buckle to quickly release the harness.
(try this several time before starting the engine)

Do not start the engine without the air filter to prevent premature engine wear.
1. Set the choke lever in CLOSED position (top).
2. Remove the air filter cover.
3. Check if the filter element is clean and in good working condition.
Clean the filter element as necessary (Fig. 5).
4. Replace the filter element.
5. Replace the filter cover by engaging the bottom clip and closing the top clip.
Checking the quick-release buckle:
• Press and make sure the harness is released.
• After releasing the buckle, check for damage. Check and fasten the buckle until a click is
heard. Make sure the straps are not tangled.
If the buckle does not work as intended, replace or repair immediately. Replace damaged
quick-release buckle.
