The Device Setup Page

To calibrate the compass or altimeter, go to 

MENU > 

Device Setup > Compass & Altimeter > Calibrate > 
Calibrate Compass

 or 

Calibrate Altimeter

.

To restore the default settings

To restore the default settings for Compass and Altimeter 
options, from any page go to 

MENU > Device Setup > 

Compass & Altimeter > Restore Defaults

.

Sound

The Sound options control sounds and volume.

To modify the sound settings

From any page, go to 

MENU > Device Setup > Sound

. 

Use the drop-down lists to select the various available 
sound settings or turn the sound off.

To modify the volume of all sounds

You can adjust the volume of all sounds. 

From any page, go to 

MENU > Device Setup > Sounds > 

Volume

To decrease the sound, move the slider to the left.

 

To increase the sound, move the slider to the right.

 

To mute the sound, select the 

Mute

 check box. This does 

not mute the warning sound when power is critically low 
or the compass calibration sounds. 

To restore the default settings

To restore the default settings for Sound options, from any 
page go to 

MENU > Device Setup > Sound > Restore 

Defaults.

Time

Use the Time options to modify the device’s time format, 
time zone, and Daylight Saving Time preferences.

To modify the time settings

From any page, go to 

MENU > Device Setup > Time

.

Use the drop-down lists to select the time settings.

–Select your actual time zone or select
