Removing a Floppy Drive or a Media Card Reader (Desktop Computer)

Follow the procedures in "Before You Begin" on page 143.

Remove the computer cover (see "Removing the Computer Cover" on
page 145).

Remove the front panel (see "Removing the Front Panel" on page 154).

Disconnect the power and data cables from the back of the floppy drive or
Media Card Reader.

Disconnect the other end of the floppy-drive cable from the system board
connector labeled "FLOPPY" (for a floppy drive) or "USB1" (for a Media
Card Reader). To locate system board connectors, see "System Board
Components" on page 148.
