Managing the PowerVault NX3500
NOTE:
If you choose LACP, ensure you configure the LACP bond in client switches.
Create an LACP bond for the switch ports to which the two client interfaces of a
node are connected and repeat this procedure for each node.
Viewing the Defined Subnets
To view the defined subnets, click
System Management
Network
Subnets
.
Modifying a Subnet
To modify a subnet:

Select a specific subnet in the subnets list.
The properties of the selected subnet are displayed.

Change the parameters as required.

Click
Save Changes
to save the NAS volume parameters, or click
Revert
to
restore the previously saved properties.
NOTE:
You cannot rename the Primary subnet, or any internal subnet (Interconnect
and Management). If you need to update the IP addresses of an internal subnet, you
must stop the file system before editing the desired IP addresses.
Removing a Subnet
To remove a subnet, select the specific subnet from the subnets list and click
Delete
in the
Action
bar. The selected subnet is deleted.
NOTE:
You cannot delete the Primary subnet, or any internal subnet (Interconnect
and Management).
