Check the condition of the double-tubes
at regular intervals. Change them if
necessary.
Type of wear
The reason of deterioration of tubes is due
to contact with milk, chemicals, hot water
and steam. In addition, liners wear out
during operational lifetime.
Consequences of failure to follow
maintenance schedule
Risk of collapsed tubes and punctures,
especially around the nipple connections if
the tubes are damaged during take-off. This
leads to decreased vacuum, risk of bacterial
growth and this results in poor milk quality.
