D.7 Sound Connector

D.7 Sound Connector

A 4-wire Modular Jack is provided for connection to an external telephone

handset or headset. Note that a telephone should not be connected to this jack.

The connection is intended for the external speaker and microphone that are

contained in the headset. The headset or handset are connected to the sound

jack with a 4-wire cable with 2 twisted pairs. The following table shows the

pinout for the sound jack.
