ISA Bus Devices

The ISA bus interface is provided by the PicoPower V3 chip.

Audio

Audio support is provided by the ES1878 chip. This chip
provides the following functions:

•

Monophonic full-duplex operation using two DMA
channels.

•

S interface to internal stereo D/A for external Zoomed

Video port.

•

Complete general interrupt mapping including the
sharing of all interrupts.

•

Support for 16-bit Stereo, FM Synthesizer, MPU-401,
and MIDI.

•

Self-timed joystick port.

•

Hot docking 6-pin interface to expansion audio mixer
(ES978).

BIOS

The system BIOS is implemented using the Intel 28F002BX-T
2 MB Boot block Flash ROM.
