A. LIMPIEZA Y SUSTITUCIÓN DE LAS MEMBRANAS
Para el buen funcionamiento del amortiguador, así como para
garantizar los requisitos de seguridad y protección contra el
riesgo de explosión, es indispensable efectuar las revisiones
y limpiezas, así como la sustitución de las membranas, con-
forme a los tiempos que se indican en la tabla.
ATENCIÓN: las membranas (en contacto con el
producto y externas) son componentes con un
alto grado de desgaste. Su duración depende mu-
cho de las condiciones de empleo y del esfuerzo químico
y físico. Las pruebas efectuadas en miles de bombas in-
staladas con prevalencia igual a 0 y fluido a 18ºC, mue-
stran que la duración normal supera los 100.000.000 (cien
millones) de ciclos. Por motivos de seguridad en los am-
bientes con peligro de explosión, se prescribe su sustitu-
ción cada 20.000.000 (veinte millones) de ciclos.

Para la sustitución de las membranas, proceder como se in-
dica a continuación:
A. CLEANING AND REPLACING THE DIAPHRAGMS
For good operation of the pulsation dampener and to guarantee
that all the safety and protection requirements against explo-
sion risks have been taken, it is indispensable that the controls,
cleaning and/or replacement of the diaphragms in accordance
with the intervals shown in the table are carried out.
WARNING: the diaphragms (in contact with the pro-
ductor the external ones) are easily subject to wear.
Their duration is strongly affected by the conditions
of use and by chemical and physical stress. Fields tests
carried out on thousands of pumps installed with a head
equal to 0 and withfluid at 18° C have shown that normal
service life exceeds one hundred million cycles. However,
in environment at riskof explosion, the diaphragms must
be replaced every 20 million cycles.

To replace product diaphragms proceed as follows:

ATENCIÓN: Los componentes de la válvula
neumática, eje incluido, están construidos con
materiales no específicamente resistentes a los
productos químicos. En caso de rotura de las membra-
nas, si entran en contacto con el fluido, sustituirlas com-
pletamente.
A1. Desmontar el cuerpo del amortiguador quitando los tor-
nillos de fijación.
ATENCIÓN: el usuario debe verificar periódica-
mente la ausencia de polvo depositado sobre las
superficies internas y, si fuera el caso, efectuar una cui-
dadosa limpieza con un paño húmedo.
A2. Quitar el polvo que pueda haberse depositado en las su-
perficies internas con un paño húmedo.
A3. Quitar la platina externa de bloqueo de las membranas.
A4. Revisar las membranas del amortiguador y, si fuera el
caso, sustituirlas con recambios ORIGINALES DEL MISMO
TIPO.

A1. Disassemble the dampener casingsby removing the fix-
ing screws.
WARNING: the user mustperiodically check that
there are no deposits of powder on the internalsur-
faces and if necessary clean themwell with a damp cloth.
A2. Remove any deposits from the internalsurfaces with a
damp cloth.
A3. Remove the external diaphragmlocking plate.
A4. Check and/or replace the dampener’sdiaphragms with
GENUINE SPAREPARTS OF THE SAME TYPE.
