ATENCIÓN: la colocación y la sujeción prevista
para el amortiguador es en horizontal, mediante
abrazaderas.
6. Colocar correctamente el amortiguador en el lugar de insta-
lación y proceder a su anclaje con los pernos correspondientes.
Disponer un espacio suficiente para futuras actuaciones de
mantenimiento.
7. Si el amortiguador es de material conductor y es adecuado
para el bombeo de fluidos inflamables, es necesario instalar un
cable adecuado de toma de tierra en uno de los dos cuerpos
para descargar las corrientes estáticas: PELIGRO DE EXPLO-
SIÓN E INCENDIO.
ATENCIÓN: el amortiguador de pulsaciones siem-
pre debe tener toma de tierra independiente de
cualquier otro órgano conectado a la misma. En
ausencia de toma de tierra, o con una toma de tierra no
correcta, dejan de cumplirse los requisitos de seguridad
y protección contra el peligro de explosión.
De ese modo se completan el transporte y la colocación.
WARNING: Position and secure the dampener hori-
zontally using hangers fixed to the ceiling or feet
resting on the ground.
6. Position the dampener correctly on the site chosen for instal-
lation and secure onto the brackets using the bolts supplied.
Arrange for enough room to carry out maintenance.
7. If the pulsation dampener is made from conductive materi-
als and is suitable for flammable products, carry out effective
grounding using a suitable size of cable on each pump casing
to discharge static currents: DANGER OF EXPLOSION AND/
OR FIRE.
WARNING The dampener must always be grounded
irrespective of any organ to which it is connected.
Lack of grounding or incorrect grounding will cancel
the requirements for safety and protection against the risk
of explosion.

3 . Make sure that all of the dampener’s
screws are well tightened
4 . Hoist the dampener using suitable
equipment according to the weight
shown on the plate.
