All oxidant tanks must have a properly installed LBS Vent and Oxidant Tank Vent to operate 
safely.  An optional Dilution Air System can be supplied upon request or on large installations, a 

combination stand pipe and Dilution Air System can be used. Refer to MIOX’s

 

Hydrogen Safety White Paper.

 

 

Safety placards are required on oxidant tanks and are 
attached to all oxidant tanks shipped directly from MIOX 
Corporation. Oxidant tanks shipped directly from the tank 
manufacturer must have the MIOX supplied safety placards 
attached to the outside wall of the oxidant tank (Figure 9). 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The plumbing and ventilation requirements explained in MIOX’s 

Hydrogen Safety 

Whitepaper

 and this manual must be fallowed explicitly to ensure proper hydrogen venting. 

 

MIOX Corporation oxidant tanks require that they be vented to the atmosphere outside the facility.   
Proper configuration of vent assemblies (Figure 10) is vital to ensure safety.
