3.1 LAN / Network Address
You need to know the network address of the “Share” computer. The reason for this is that
venTest is not capable of resolving computer names via DNS (Domain Name Services).
Proceed as follows:
In the search box located to the right of the start window icon (lower left corner of the
Desktop) type “cmd” and then click on “Command Prompt”. This will cause a command
line interface window to open. At the prompt type “ipconfig”. The results should be similar
to Figure 47.
Make note of the “IPv4 Address”.
