3.2.3 USB connector

The USB Type B connector (slave,

no

active USB controller) can optionally be led out of the device by

a USB cable through the edge connector. By this, the ZK-MasterIV can be connected to a PC as USB
terminal.

3.2.4 Ethernet interface

Caution:

Power over Ethernet (PoE) describes a process with which network-compatible de-
vices can be energised via the 8-core Ethernet-wire. The internal TCP/IP module
of the ZK-MasterIV is not PoE tolerant.

The device can be integrated into a network of companies via TCP/IP via the RJ45 plug (
