Smart Card Processing Requirements
The

items

personalize
smart
cards:

smart
card
reader
in
the
printer
•
A
cable
for
the
smart
card
port
used
(this
cable
is
not
needed
for
single
‐
wire
processing)
•
A
card
production
application
that
is
designed
to
work
with
the
printer
and
the
smart
card
application
•
Smart
cards
that
work
with
the
reader
in
the
printer
Smart Card Codes on the Printer Label
The
configuration
label
includes
codes
that
identify
the
type
and
model
of
the
smart
card
module
installed
in
the
printer.
The
