Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the other

device(s) are connected.

Consult the manufacturer or field service technician for help.

9.8

  Drop sensor functions

1.

Detects free flow caused by malfunctioning.

2.

Detects no drop caused by container depletion or tube

occlusion.

3.

It is recommended to reinforce safety of the drop sensor.

4.

For more information about installation, see the part for

drop sensor installation.

Caution

Do not mount or dismount the drop sensor during injection. It causes

operation to stop.

9.9

Characteristic curves

The following characteristic curves present the results of test under IEC 60601-2-24 conditions.

Start-up Curve:

Shows injected amounts every 30 seconds within a 2 hour duration. This

start-up curve shows the injection characteristics upon stable flow rate immediately after

injection.

Trumpet Curve:

Shows variation rates based on flow differences between maximums and

minimums on the horizontal and vertical axes. (The closer the difference, the smaller the

variation.)

The following charts are for reference only. (Measuring instrument: METRON QA-IDS MKII)
