*1: Procedure for checking the electronic expansion valve for
the drive unit coil.
Disconnect the electronic expansion valve connector (X7A)
from the PC board, and then make measurement of
resistance and check for continuity between the connector
pins to make judgment.
(1) White
(2) Yellow
(3) Orange
(4) Blue
(6) Brown
(5) Red
The normal states are as follows:
No continuity between Pins (1) and (2)
Approx. 300
Ω
resistance between Pins (1) and (3)
Approx. 150
Ω
resistance between Pins (1) and (5)
Approx. 300
Ω
resistance between Pins (2) and (4)
Approx. 150
Ω
resistance between Pins (2) and (6)
Yellow

Brown

Turn OFF the power supply
once and then ON again.
Does the
power supply normally
come back ON?
While in monitor mode, identify an electronic expansion valve
subject to the Malfunction Code "
F9
". (For checking procedure,
refer to information on P248~249.)
When Check 4 is set as shown below:

Probe any external causes
other than failures (e.g.
noises).
Properly and securely
connect the connector.
Replace the electronic
expansion valve coil
concerned.
Replace the BS unit PC
board.
Caution
Be sure to turn off power switch before connect or disconnect connector,
or parts damage may be occurred.
