For the main zone:
-
The room temperature is controlled by the user interface used as room
thermostat.
-
In cooling mode, you can allow the underfloor heating (main zone) to provide
refreshment (no real cooling), or NOT allow it.
If allowed:
Do NOT install a shut-off valve.
Set [F-0C]=0.
Set the leaving water temperature of the main zone NOT too low (typically:
20°C)
If NOT allowed:
Install a shut-off valve (field supply) and connect it to:
- X2M/21+28 for a normally open valve, OR
- X2M/21+29 for a normally closed valve
In this case, the main zone cooling setpoint will NOT be adjustable. The cooling
setpoint for the heat pump convectors can be adjusted via the additional zone
setpoint screen.
▪
For the additional zone:
-
The heat pump convectors are directly connected to the indoor unit.
-
The desired room temperature is set via the controller of the heat pump
convectors. There are different controllers and setups possible for the heat
pump convectors. For more information, see:
The installation manual of the heat pump convectors
The installation manual of the heat pump convector options
The addendum book for optional equipment
-
The heating or cooling demand signals of each heat pump convector are
connected in parallel to the digital input on the indoor unit (X2M/35a and
X2M/30). The indoor unit will only supply the desired additional leaving water
temperature when there is an actual demand.
▪
The user interface connected to the indoor unit decides the space operation
mode. Mind that the operation mode on each controller of the heat pump
convectors must be set to match the indoor unit.
