It is network data channel b indication light. The yellow light flashes if

The yellow light flashes when connect the HDD channel to the power.

Light
The blue light flashes when the system is reading or writing the HDD.
If you want to turn off unit power, please follow the following steps:

In web interface, select option to shut down the system.
z
Please wait until the blue HDD read-write light becomes off.
z
Click PWR button to shut down the system.
