REMOVING THE LID AND PLACING THE MOTOR IN MANUAL OVERIDE
Whenever the gate needs to be disengaged from the motor in order to move the gate by hand , the motor can be placed in manual over-ride
mode.
To place the motor into manual over -ride:-
•
Open the door
•
Turn the thumb- wheel clockwise until the gate is free to move.
It is recommended that all power is removed from the motor when the gate is in manual over-ride mode.
To place the motor into operational mode:-
•
Turn the thumbwheel anti-clockwise while moving the gate . The gate will lock into place. It is important that the gate is moved
while the thumbwheel is turned as this allows the motor to re-engage.
•
Close the door and lock.
In order to remove the lid of the motor. Remove the two screws at the side of the lid.
The lid can now be lifted off the motor.
