GVC-3000 User Guide
7.3. Receiving Calls
On receiving a call, you would be prompted by a “
Ring
” tone and a pop-up box
along with the caller details asking whether you want to accept the call or not; the
corresponding line LED will be blinking.
You can accept the call in three ways:
1) Go off-hook by taking the handset from the cradle or, by turning the speaker
on.
2)
Press the “
Accept
” button on the pop-up box. In this case, the speaker would be
turned on automatically.
3)
If you are already in a call, enter the
HOLD
sequence (*1) on the alert box or
flip the hook-flash
. GVC - 3000 would accept the call and then put the called
party on hold.
Once you accept the call, you can hear the calling party in hands free/handset
mode as explained in “
Handset and Speaker phone mode
”.
If you do not wish to answer the call, you can press the “
Reject
” button on the
pop-up box.
7.4. Ending a Call
You can end an active call by keeping your phone in on-hook state, i.e. the
handset should be on the cradle and the speaker should be switched off. The
corresponding line LED would stop glowing.
