8.13.3.Server Configuration
Firmware (Software) upgrade can be done via either FTP or HTTP. To upgrade via
FTP or HTTP, you have to select FTP or HTTP upgrade method. If the server is in a
public network, the preferred method is HTTP. GVC - 3000 technical support team
would furnish you with the required details
Server:
The server address needs to be set to a valid URL of a HTTP/FTP server.
Server name can be either a domain name or an IP address.
Port:
Server port address. By default, HTTP server port is 80 and FTP port is 21.
FTP server requires authentication to download and initiate upgrade.
User Name:
User name provided to access the FTP Server.
Password:
Password to access the FTP Server.
Please note that the Password is
alpha-numeric. To enable easy entering of alpha-numeric text on a password field,
the entered character is shown at the right end of the box for a split second.
