Configuring Device (Router Mode)
Remote Access to Device
On the
Advanced / Remote access to device
page, you can configure access to the web-based
interface of the access point. By default, the access from external networks to the access point is
closed. If you need to allow access to the access point from the external network, create relevant
rules.

To create a new rule, click the
Add
button. In the line displayed, you can specify the following
parameters:
Parameter
Description
IP address
A host or a subnet to which the rule is applied.
Mask
The mask of the subnet.
Public port
An external port of the access point. You can specify only one port.
Protocol
The protocol available for remote management of the access point.
After specifying the needed parameters, click the
Apply
button.
To edit a rule for remote access, select a needed field in the relevant line of the table, change its
value, and click the
Apply
button.
To remove a rule for remote access, select the checkbox located to the left of the relevant line in the
table and click the
Delete
button. Then click the
Apply
button.
