Try to avoid using the rotary volume control for controlling the volume.
Leave the rotary volume control at around 1/3 of the maximum level
and use the Volume setting on the keypad to achieve an acceptable
volume so that the intercom volume is not affected.
This menu is only heard on the keypad user menu, and not when you
access the user menu from a remote or local phone, as it is used for
setting the volume at the keypad being used.
The Function key F* is a shortcut to the keypad volume menu, but this
depends on how the system is configured by the installer
