Monitoring Station Phone Type may not be assigned from this menu. If a
phone position is already assigned to Monitoring Station, it may not be
changed except by the Installer.
Check that Comfort can dial to the programmed numbers with the Dial
Test, described below in
Checking Comfort
.
Allowing Engineer Access
Engineer Code is used by the installer to program the system, or to
interrogate and do troubleshooting in the special Engineer Menu which a
voice menu used for system programming, as distinct from User
programming in the Program Menu. As protection from unauthorized
Engineer access, the Engineer Code will not be able to access the
Engineer Menu unless authorized by a user. To authorized the Engineer
Code, press F+0
on the keypad. The Engineer Code
authorization is automatically removed at midnight. To cancel Engineer
Code authorization immediately, go to Program Menu, press 3 for
Security, 4 for Engineer Sign in Option and 0 for Off.
