Manual Installation of Cypress Driver
1. In Windows,
invoke
Start > Computer
and right-click
Properties > Select Device Manager
.
Locate the FX3 device entry with a yellow symbol in the Other Devices list. Sometimes, the FX3
DVK enumerates as
Westbridge
, as shown in
Figure 3-4
.
Note
: In Windows XP invoke
Start > My Computer
and right-click
Properties > Hardware Tab >
Select Device Manager
.

2. Right-click on the yellow device entry to verify the VID/PID of the device. Choose
Properties >
Details
. Select
Hardware Ids
and observe if the default VID/PID is 0x04B4/0x00F3, as shown in
Figure 3-5
.
