Spansion Virtual Communication Port Driver Installation
1. After connecting the FM4 MCU Base Board to your PC through the USB port (CN4), wait for driv-
ers to install. When installed, follow steps 1 through 3 to verify if the driver is successfully
installed. If the Spansion Virtual Communication Port driver is not installed, follow steps 1 through
8 to install the driver. Choose
Start

Computer
and right-click
Properties
, as shown in
Figure 4-11
.

Device Manager

3. If the driver is installed, the board appears as
